About Me

Hello. I'm a web and graphic designer living in sunny South Florida. In a nutshell, I have over 5 years experience in graphic design and web design. I have a BFA in Graphic Design and an AS in Interactive Media Design. My background includes producing graphics for both print and web, as well as experience designing and building small business websites from the ground up. The programs I'm most proficient in are Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

I like to stay creative by working on multiple little projects of my own. I make it a point to learn something new in everything I do - It keeps things interesting! Some of these things include photography, crafting, and baking.

Work History

Previous Employers:

Round Up Night Club - Freelance Graphic Designer, 2009-Present
For the most part, I design event graphics for the Round Up website. On occasion, I design print material such as banners, business cards, and menus. I also had the opportunity to use my knowledge of Illustrator to take a low resolution version of their logo and re-create a scalable vector version for use on ads, banners, and other printed promotional material.

South Florida Baseball Factory - Freelance Web Designer / Graphic Designer / Web Content Manager, 2009-Present
For this small company I was hired to create their identity - from designing their logo to developing their website. I continue to work as their Web Content Manager making the necessary updates to their site. In addition, I create print material which includes invitations and event graphics.

SoBe Graphics - Graphic & Web Designer, 2009-2010
During my time with SoBe Graphics, I made use of my design skills by creating client logos, business cards, brochures, flyers, presentation folders, and vehicle graphics. When I wasn't designing print material, I worked on developing client websites.

Beasley Broadcast Group - WKIS Webmaster, 2007-2008
A typical day for me included making updates to WKIS.com and creating web graphics / pages that complimented on-air promotions for both WKIS (Kiss Country) and WPOW (Power 96). I was in charge of creating and sending the weekly e-newsletter. Once a month, I pulled and sent out the website statistics report to the department manager. I also shot and edited DJ video blogs using Adobe Premiere. Additionally, I designed the 2009 Kiss Country Chili Cook-Off Logo. I worked on printed material for both radio stations, as well.

Best Buy - Senior of Merchandising, 2001-2006
Though not design related, I feel this job was an important one. I'd say this job allowed me to develop my people skills as I often provided customer service and oversaw 12 other employees in my department. Other duties I feel were of value included product merchandising and training of new employees.
